Hi Ann, How are you? Hope you can reply me. You have been involved in so many dramas over the years and have acted in so many roles, which is the most challenging role? You have sort of `transformed` from a sweetie pie to a more sexy appeal on TV, do you like the change? I like your role in Love Concierge, your acting is great! All the best in your acting career, regards, Whiski ;) - posted by Whiski on 1/13/2006 9:19:34 PM Ann: Hi there Whiski! First of all i would like to thank u for the compliment! I like the role in Love Concierge too & Ruqing is the most challenging role I ever had. As for the transformation from a sweetie pie to "sexy appeal", haha... I don't really see that but since u asked me, I don't mind the change at all. Lastly, all the best to u too! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi haha love u so much on TV... k so what type of character will u act as if u were given a chance in Hollywood movies? - posted by John on 1/14/2006 2:02:56 AM Ann: Hey John! If i was given a chance, I would like to be in 'Charlie's Angels! Or maybe a movie like the French movie 'He Loves Me He Love Me Not! ;) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi Ann, since you joined MediaCorp in `93, I have always admired how natural your acting skills are. I especially loved the character you portrayed in Wok of Life. I have a few questions for you 1) What is your beauty secret? What particular brand of skincare product do you use? 2) How much do you weigh? 3) What motivated you to leave for HK years back? Any plans to go back? 4) What are your upcoming projects and plans for the future? 5) What are you involved in currently? 6) Do you have a fan email address for us to write to you? - posted by Steph on 1/14/2006 8:13:58 AM Ann: Steph! Thank you for supporting
all these years! I'm glad that I can bring you some entertainment! Heh!
Ok, answers to your questions. 1) My beauty secret is my skin product
MTM! I use MTM skin products not just because I'm the spokesperson but
also because the products are good! My skin is actually very sensitive
& before I was made the spokesperson for MTM, I often had skin irritations
& little pimples popping out. Now I'm free of all that! 2) I don't always
keep track on my weight. I would say its probably around 40+ kg. 3) Nothing
really particular motivated me. I wanted to try new stuff... get more
experience in life... work with different people in a different environment.
Now that I'm back, I'm happy, no plans to go back. 4) & 5) I'm working
on a variety show now. It's called Life Scent 2. You will see me hosting
a lifestyle program for the first time soon. I'm also working on a 20-episode
drama but I'm only involved in a 3-episode short story. Meanwhile no further
plans yet 'cos it's gonna take me a few months to do these projects! 6)
I'm sorry to disappoint u... I don't have a fan email add. maybe u wanna
drop messages in my web site for me? www.ann-kok.org ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I think you are few of the actors in MediaCorp who can act in goody and baddie role so convincing. I prefer you to act someone who is caring and intelligent. I have the following questions: 1. How do you prepare for your role? 2. Which countries you have visited so far? 3. Any overseas project for you? 4. Will you sing again? 5. What is your goal and ambition? 6. Are you considering retiring from show business? 7. What will you do after retirement? - posted by Andy on 1/19/2006 3:18:06 PM Ann: Haha... hi Andy! Hope I'm more of a goodie than a baddie to you! Explaining to you how to prepare for a role need a very long list, which I'm afraid might flood the web here! Ha! Just kidding! I'll make it short. I'll read the script, try to imagine & put myself in the character's shoes. & see if there's any movie whose character is similar to the character I'll be playing, from there I'll learn. So far no overseas project for me yet. Countries that I traveled to are China, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand & of course Malaysia. I would love to sing again 'cos singing has always been the love of my life. Hope MCS will give me a chance to sing to my supporters again. :p Wow! Goal & ambition? Well since I'm in showbiz I would want to be a great actor, someone who can deliver the roles convincingly & bring across the right message to everyone & make Singapore proud! Am i dreaming? haha... hope i can do it! I'm not so sure about retiring from showbiz yet. But then what will happen in the future nobody knows. Hope i answered ur questions. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey Ann, just wanna ask... whether it was awkward for you to do the stripping scene in Love Concierge (due to character's emotional breakdown)? - posted by fennie on 2/4/2006 10:06:45 AM
Hi Ann, good that u came back. U are really as HOT as ever. May i know how u maintain your body? You're so fit, do you do a lot of exercise? - posted by CRUZ on 1/13/2006 8:57:16 PM Ann: Thank you for the warm welcome home Cruz!
Thank you thank you for finding me hot! Yes I do exercise & it's really
good for the body. It'll improve your metabolism rate & make you healthier!
plus "a little" watch on my diet! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you were offered a movie role by a foreign film company require nudity, will you take up the role? (Taking into consideration that the particular scene is important to the whole movie plot.) If yes, why, if not, why. - posted by Janet Wheeler on 1/24/2006 3:31:47 PM
Hi Ann! Your acting in Love Concierge was superb!! I would like to ask u some questions... 1) How do you feel working with HK actress Nancy Sit and other co-stars? 2) When is your birthday? (Could u tell me your age as well??) 3) What was your childhood ambition? 4) Do u like acting? Hope u have a happy family and successful career!! - posted by Darren on 1/14/2006 10:11:58 PM
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Hi Ann, now I got to see you act in Star Idol, but pity that you have to film it under hot sun! I like you to act with Thomas Ong. Are you involving in any new drama now? How is it working with Thomas? How do you handle press? I noticed the press can destroy a star just not giving any coverage, are you afraid of this? - posted by Andy on 2/9/2006 10:00:11 AM Ann: I like acting with Thomas too! He's a real gentlemen. Always very nice to women & respects us. I'm working on a 20-episode drama & I'm still working with Thomas! It's a pity I'm only involved in a short story of 3 episodes. Well i guess I'll get a chance to work with Thomas again in future. How do I handle press? SINCERITY. Not all press are like what u said Andy. So far I'm lucky. As for to the extent of destroying a star... I don't think so.
